French riot police use tear gas on football supporters
Riot police used tear gas to clear the Champs-Elysees of celebrating French fans on Tuesday night.
Fans threw projectiles at police dressed in full riot gear. The clashes lasted over an hour. Several were reported injured and a number of arrests were made.
The supporters were celebrating France's 1-0 semifinal victory over Belgium.
