Russia: S-400 Triumph anti-missile system drills held in Crimea

The South Military District’s fourth army performed drills with the S-400 Triumph anti-missile system in Crimea, Russia, on Wednesday.

Over the course of the drills, the S-400 along with Pantsir-S1 air defence systems managed to repel a missile attack from the Black Sea. Then Pantsirs and Triumphs were re-deployed with air-inflated imitations taking their place in order to puzzle an opposing force.

According to the head of the fourth army of the Russian Air Force Viktor Sevostianov, since 2017, "all the anti-missile military units located in the Crimea were rearmed with the S-400 Triumph anti-missile systems."

S-400 artillery battalion was delivered to the Crimea in 2017 and took up its duty in January 2018.
