An academic believes it is about time that the United Nations and the international community take a “decisive action” against Israel, adding that they must proceed with political isolation and economic sanctions against the Israeli regime in order to make it abide by international law and conventions.

“Unfortunately all of the UN resolutions have not put enough pressure on Israel to put an end to its occupation of Palestinian land and allow the Palestinians for self-determination and self-rule and Israel is defying international law and international legitimacy by keeping its occupation and settlements expansion and also by killing the Palestinian people by using lethal weapon against non-violent protesters,” Mukhaimer Abu Saada, lecturer at al-Azhar University told Press TV in an interview on Saturday.
