Israel okays new settlement project near Dead Sea

Israel has unveiled yet another plan to take Palestinian regions near the Dead Sea under its control. Israeli authorities say the plan boosts tourism in the region and benefits all. But Palestinians argue that the scheme endangers the environment and is actually a cover for the expansion of Israeli settlements.
