Iranian squash referee Mokhtari to officiate at 2018 Asian Games

Iranian squash referee Mehdi Mokhtari will officiate at the 2018 Asian Games, which will be the 18th edition of the multi-sport event and is scheduled to kick off in mid-August in Indonesia.

The Asian Squash Federation has invited Mokhtari to oversee the matches, which will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex in the Indonesian capital city of Jakarta.

Squash is an Asian Games sport since the 1998 edition and has been held at every edition since.

The 2018 Asian Games will start on August 18 and will wrap up on September 2.

The Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex will host the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games.
