UNRWA faces serious problems following US aid cut

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees has made an appeal to global powers gathering in Rome Thursday. UNRWA wants the participants to step in and cover the sheer size of the budget gap, created by the US aid cut to the agency. Palestinian refugees say they depend on UNRWA as the main global organization allocated to them.
