Are Iraq, US heading to clash over American military presence?

An American armored vehicle is seen at the Qayyarah military base, about 60 kilometers (35 miles) south of the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.

Iraq’s Parliament has approved a bill to demand a timetable for the withdrawal of US troops from the country. MPs have assigned Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi by virtue of the same bill to take an appropriate measure in the same direction. This has revived a debate over American’s military presence in Iraq with some speculating that a clash between the leaders of the two countries over the same issue could be just around the corner.
