Three Iranian cyclists will be in attendance at the 7th edition of Para Asian Track Championships, which is scheduled to be held in Malaysia later this month.

The Islamic Republic of Iran National Paralympic Committee (IRINPC) reported that Mehdi Mohammadi, Alireza Qasemi and Bahram Soleimani will represent the Islamic Republic during the continental competition. They are coached by Alireza Makvandi.

The trio will depart for Malaysia early on Wednesday.

The Iranian para cyclists will compete against their opponents in the 1-kilometer, spirit and individual pursuit events.

They had been training in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz, located 834 kilometers southwest of the capital Tehran, since mid-December last year.

The 7th edition of Para Asian Track Championships will begin in the Malaysian capital city of Kuala Lumpur on February 16, and will finish on February 20, 2018.
