Uganda hit by refugee corruption scandal

The United Nations and other major donors have demanded swift accountability from the Ugandan government following allegations of fraud and abuse of funds for refugees. The alleged scam is reported to have consumed hundreds of millions of funds contributed in support of the country’s refugee cause.
