UNICEF has warned that Yemen’s stocks of fuel and vaccines will run out in a month. After two years of Saudi bombings and blockade, Yemen has seven million people on the brink of famine. Over the past six months, 900,000 suspected cases of cholera have also been detected due to the blockade, which has worsened the situation in hospitals and affected the public health.
