FIFA unveils the official ball of the 2018 World Cup

World Football Governing Body, FIFA, has unveiled the official match ball to be Used at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. 

The ball is a re-invention of the cult classic that was used at the 1970 World Cup. The Adidas Telstar 18 includes a microchip, which enables consumers to interact with the ball through a smartphone.

The inclusion of the chip also allows the speed and course of the ball to be tracked and analyzed. The original Telstar is one of the most Iconic Footballs of all time, decorated with black panels.
