Syrian army finds Daesh chemical stockpile in newly-liberated Dayr al-Zawr

A Syrian solider flashes the sign for victory as he patrols in the eastern city of Dayr al-Zawr on November 4, 2017.

The Syrian army says it has discovered large quantities of chemical weapons and materials in mop-up operations in the newly-recaptured city of Dayr al-Zawr. Syrian forces and their allies have taken full control of Dayr al-Zawr, the last major stronghold of the Daesh Takfiri terrorists in the country. The Takfiri group is being driven out of Syria and neighboring Iraq, losing the territories it had controlled since 2014.
