Two dead in knife attack in southern France

A knife attack in France’s southern city of Marseille on Sunday left two women dead. Officials say the assailant, a man around 30, was shot dead by a soldier moments after the attack that took place in the city’s main railway station. His identity remains has not been announced by witnesses say he is of North African appearance. Authorities say the incident is being treated as an act of terrorism.
