Iraq’s PM rejects Kurdish referendum result

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has rejected the outcome of the Kurdish secession vote. Abadi had earlier declared the referendum as illegal. Meanwhile, Iraqi lawmakers have adopted a new series of measures against the Kurdistan region in response to the vote held on Monday.
