Iranian cyclists awarded 3 bronze medals in Japan Track Cup I & II

Iranian cyclists have put on fine performances at the 2017 Japan Track Cup I & II, and pocketed three bronze medals at the international tournament.

On Friday, Amir Hossein Jamshidiyan competed against his rivals in the junior scratch race event, and claimed the third spot to receive the bronze medal.

The Iranian men’s team of Mehdi Sohrabi and Mohammad Rajablou also vied for a medal in the madison team event, and struck a bronze.

Separately, Fatemen Hadavand and Maedeh Nazari got a bronze medal in the women’s madison team event.

The 2017 Japan Track Cup I & II kicked off in Izu, Japan, on July 7 and will finish on July 9.

The tournament has brought together tens of male and female cyclists from Australia, Hong Kong, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Russia and Thailand.
