Mick Napier, member of the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign, believes Israeli authorities have agreed to a deal with the Palestinian prisoners, who have been on hunger strike in Israeli jails over the past 40 days, “out of fear.”

“Despite the blackout in the Western media over the Palestinian hunger strike, they [the Israelis] are very afraid that this would burst into public awareness … so I think the concession was made out of fear,” Napier told Press TV in an interview on Saturday.
