A U-turn in Turkey’s foreign policy

A recent agreement between Russia, Iran and Turkey to create a mechanism to support the ceasefire in Syria has been seen as an indication of a U-turn in Ankara’s foreign policy. After years of seeking to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, many now believe Turkey has come to the conclusion that there’s no military solution to the crisis in Syria.
