ME Quartet opposes Israeli settlement activities

The Middle East Quartet has strongly opposed Israel’s settlement activity on the occupied Palestinian land, calling it an obstacle to peace. The mediation group says the expansion of such illegal settlements is eroding the chances of a solution to the conflict.
