MKO terrorists relocated from Iraq to Albania

Here is a round-up of global news developments:

  • Russia and the United States have reached an agreement to take measures aimed at reducing violence and reviving the peace process in Syria. A truce will come into force in Syria on Monday. Russia says Damascus is ready to support the initiative.
     
  • The Turkish army says at least three of its soldiers have been killed in an attack in northern Syria. Daesh terrorists, who later claimed responsibility for the attack, targeted the Turkish fighters in the Tel Al-Hawa region. Three other Turkish soldiers were also killed in an ISIL rocket attack this week.
     
  • Near-simultaneous explosions in the Iraqi capital Baghdad have claimed the lives of at least twelve people, injuring more than 40 others. According to police, the bombings occurred outside a shopping mall opposite the Oil Ministry in Baghdad’s east. Daesh terrorists have claimed responsibility for the attacks.
     
  • The anti-Iran Mujahedin e Khalq terrorist Organization has been completely relocated from its camp in Iraq to Albania. The MKO terror group made the announcement adding that over 280 of its members in the liberty camp were flown to Albania. The MKO terrorists are responsible for the deaths of thousands of Iranians.
     
  • The Israeli premier has dismissed international criticism of West Bank settlement construction. Benjamin Netanyahu says he has always been perplexed by claims that Israeli settlement building is an obstacle to peace. Israeli settlements are illegal under international law and Tel Aviv has time and again been urged to halt additional construction.
     
  • Prominent Bahraini Shia cleric, Sheikh Isa Qassim who was stripped of his citizenship by Manama, will not attend the third session of his trial due next week. According to his representative in Iran Abdullah Daqaq, Sheikh Qassim does not recognize the court and will keep fighting against the regime.
     
  • Greece’s international creditors have urged the country to speed up the implementation of tough austerity measures in order to unlock a much needed bailout funding. Greece is waiting to receive 2.8 billion euros as part of an overall bailout of 86 billion euros, agreed last year with international creditors.
     
  • Seven incumbent and ex-law enforcement officers in the US state of California are facing charges in an underage sex scandal. The officers of Oakland Police Department could face up to 3 years in state prison if convicted. Oakland Mayor earlier fired four other officers and suspended seven more in connection with the scandal.
