Little girl killed, by Saudi airstrikes in Yemen’s Sa’ada province

  • Saudi Arabia has targeted residential areas in Yemen’s Sa’ada province, killing a little girl and injuring four others. The fatality came from Saudi artillery fire on the Razih district of Sa’ada province. Saudi fighter jets also hit several other areas in the province, including a school.

  • Three crew members of the International Space Station have returned to Earth after six months. The astronauts landed in Soyuz spacecraft in Kazakhstan. They were tasked with conducting various experiments in biotechnology and human research activities to study the effects of long-term space missions on the health of astronauts.
  • Iran’s Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, has reacted to Saudi Arabia's top cleric for his offensive language against the Iranian nation. The top Iranian diplomat says there is no resemblance between Islam of Iranians and most Muslims with the one preached by the Wahhabis in Saudi Arabia.
  • The Syrian army has made fresh advances against foreign-backed militants in its push to liberate the western city of Hama. The army has already regained the control of several villages around the city. Damascus has been making significant gains against militants countrywide.
