South Korea promotes Halal food for Muslim tourists

The Halal logo is issued to food products and services which meet Muslim standards.

South Korea’s tourism industry has enjoyed steady growth over the past several years. It now seeks to diversify its inbound travelers to include more visitors from Muslim countries. And to make Muslim tourists more comfortable, the country is working with restaurants to develop Halal certification and Muslim-friendly menu options.
