Pakistan famine claims hundreds of lives

At least 130 children have died due to famine in Pakistan since March.

Pakistan’s Thar Desert, southeast of the port city of Karachi, has been affected by drought for the last three years. Since March alone at least 130 children have died due to famine. Now a report by a fact finding mission says the tragedy could have been prevented had authorities acted in a timely manner. Press TV’s Kamran Yousaf has the details.
