The highly controversial trial of two Turkish journalists of the opposition Jumhurriyet newspaper has begun in Istanbul. Jan Dundar and Erdem Gul are accused of espionage, revealing state secrets, and supporting terrorism. This, after they published reports and videos claiming the Turkish intelligence agency secretly armed terrorist groups in Syria. Our correspondent Verenia Keet reports from Istanbul.
