The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine has commemorated the 48th anniversary of its establishment by staging a huge rally in the Gaza Strip. The movement has re-asserted its commitment to the new Palestinian Intifada. Thousands of people in the besieged coastal strip took to the streets to mark the occasion.
