Activists slam Bahraini regime rights violations

1 Several Bahraini rights groups slam the Al Khalifah regime’s continued violation of the rights of hundreds of children, their torture and imprisonment, in breach of U-N conventions.

2 The Russian and Syrian air forces continue their airstrikes against Daesh positions across Syria. Russia says its latest attacks have been conducted from its Caspian Sea fleet.

3 The U-N Security Council approves a resolution urging all nations to redouble and coordinate action to prevent further attacks by Daesh Takfiri terrorists and other extremist groups.

4 Muslim advocacy groups in America condemn the remarks by US Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump who called for a database to track Muslims across the country.

5 The U-S releases high-profile Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard after thirty years in prison. Pollard was sentenced to life and his case was a source of tension between Tel Aviv and Washington.
