The Syrian army, backed by Russian airstrikes, has made more gains against foreign-backed militants.
In the most recent operations, the Syrian army fully recaptured an area near the town of Quneitra near the capital Damascus. Dozens of terrorists were killed in the operation. The Syrian forces also advanced toward militant positions northeast of Dara’a. They pushed the terrorists out of Safsafah and Foro towns as well. Earlier, at least six terrorists were killed during operations in the town of Talbiseh and the village of Ter Ma’alah, north of the city of Homs. The Russian Defense Ministry also confirmed its warplanes have destroyed a strongpoint belonging to the terrorists in Hama province.
