New border signposts cause tension between Georgia, South Ossetia

Georgia’s government has accused the Russia-backed breakaway region of South Ossetia of provocation and posing threat to security in the region. The reason is installation of the so-called border signposts at the South Ossetian administrative boundary line. However, Georgian authorities have been accused by the opposition of creating a false impression of normalization of relations with Russia.
