Beirut remembers Nakba Day

Hundreds of religious scholars have attended a gathering in the Lebanese capital Beirut to remember the 67th anniversary of Nakba Day. The event, which was hosted by the International Scholars Forum for Palestine, also honored those killed on May 15, 2011 when Israeli forces opened fired on protesting Palestinian refugees.
