Press TV has conducted an interview with James Jatras, former US Senate foreign policy analyst, in Washington, to ask for his views on the nomination of Hillary Clinton, former US secretary of state, for president.
Jatras says, “Many Americans of all political stripes get this kind of sick feeling about the idea of another Clinton with the evasions of misrepresentations on the playing fast and loose with the truth.”
Referring to Hillary’s record on the foreign policy, the analyst argues, “She is a terrible secretary of state and would be a horrible president.”
As the US first lady, Hillary advocated military involvement in the Balkans, voted for the Iraq war as a senator, supported the overthrowing of Muammar Gaddafi, the last dictator in Libya, and has been very belligerent towards Russia and Syria, Jatras maintains.
Hillary shows the “worst aspect of bipartisan American foreign policy” for the last two decades, the political expert concludes.
