Press TV has conducted an interview with Osama al-Aradi, an assistant professor at the University of Toledo, to ask for his opinion about a report by Bahrain’s main opposition group, al-Wefaq, raising alarm over the plight of political inmates kept in the country’s notorious Jaw prison.

Al-Aradi says Bahraini prisoners are subject to intimidation, torture, and group punishment in Bahrain’s Jaw prison, adding that notwithstanding such reports, the United Nations and the Western countries have adopted a nonchalant approach toward human rights violations in Bahrain.
