Mike Harris, the financial editor at Veterans Today, says the
United States should “detach itself
from involvement with Israel”,
condemning the recent Israeli attack on Syria.
“This issue with Israel - making
attacks on other nations in a neighborhood - just further illustrates the need
for the U.S. to have a foreign policy that is completely independent of Israel,
and that the U.S. needs to detach itself from involvement with Israel”, Harris told the U.S. Desk on Sunday.
Earlier this week, Israeli jets attacked a military research center
in Jamraya, 25 km northwest of the Syrian capital, Damascus. The Syrian Army
said in a statement on Wednesday that two people were killed and five injured in
the airstrike.
Harris criticized Israeli force as “violent aggressor” and said that Washington should cut its
relationship with Tel Aviv because
“they [Israelis] cannot be trusted”.
