Afghan officials
say a man has rammed a motorcycle packed with explosives into a U.S. military
convoy in the east, causing a blast that killed at least 12 Afghans, CBS
reports. U.S. casualties are yet unknown.
Officials say
the attack occurred in the province's capital Khost city about midday on
Wednesday.
There is no information on casualties among U.S. forces. The U.S.-led military coalition, known as ISAF, confirmed the explosion, but did not offer information on casualties, according to the report.
Two women and three Afghan police were among the dead, the reprot said.
No group
including the Taliban militants have so far claimed responsibility behind the
attack, according to Khaama Press.
