The national
security policies of the United States are increasingly violating civil
liberties in that country.
This is
according to Karen Greenberg, director of the Center on National Security at
Fordham University in New York. She told Press TV’s U.S. Desk on Wednesday, “If
you look at the national security policy as it’s emerging in 2012, it seems to
be following along the lines that are increasingly invasive in terms of
violating civil liberties.”
In an article
published Monday in Commondreams.org, Greenberg writes that Americans can expect
the Obama administration and if a different President is in the Oval Office, to
continue to barrel down the same path George Bush did and keep America in a war
like atmosphere that started on 9/11.
