Two US-led soldiers killed in south Afghanistan explosion

Two US-led soldiers serving with the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) have been killed in a bombing attack in southern Afghanistan.


According to official figures released by the website icasualties.org, at least 266 foreign soldiers have lost their lives in war-battered Afghanistan so far this year.

A total of 566 US-led forces died in Afghanistan in 2011. However, 2010 remains the deadliest year on record for foreign military casualties, with a death toll of 711.
