An American spy drone has crashed in Ghazni province in the east of war-ravaged Afghanistan, Press TV reports.
The surveillance plane went down on Friday night in southern suburbs of eastern province of Ghazni, Ghazni security chief, Seyed Amir Shah said on Saturday.
Afghan soldiers found the wreckage of the crashed drone and handed it over to the US-led forces in the region, he added.
The cause of the crash remains unknown.
The US frequently uses surveillance as well as armed drones in Afghanistan.
