NATO says another US-led soldier has been killed in an attack on the foreign military forces in southern Afghanistan.
NATO announced the news on Friday, saying the soldier had died in an attack by Taliban militants.
Attacks on NATO forces have continued into the cold season, which traditionally brings a break in such operations.
The latest death pushes to 33 the number of US-led foreign troops killed in Afghanistan so far in 2012.
At least 566 NATO troops were killed in Afghanistan last year, making it the second deadliest for the Western military alliance since the start of the US-led war in 2001.
