The UN silence over the assassination of an Iranian scientist is indicative of the world body's tacit relations with the United States, an analyst tells Press TV.
"The UN is totally in cahoots with the American state department, [Secretary of State] Hillary Clinton and the [US President Barack] Obama('s) administration, because it's all part of their strategy," said online columnist Allen Roland.
He made the remarks in response to a question about the UN's failure to take a stance against the latest terror attack in Iran.
"Of course, since we do control the UN, they haven't said a word," Roland said.
"When Hillary Clinton's spokesperson didn't say anything -- deny or accept it -- then Hillary came out later and categorically denied the United States having anything to do with this, I knew she was lying," he added.
On Wednesday, the deputy director of marketing at Iran's Natanz nuclear facility, Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, was killed in a bomb attack in Tehran.
The analyst blamed the Israeli spy agency, Mossad, for the assassination.
"It's a Mossad operation. Anything the Mossad does we have literally used them as our proxy. So, we had full knowledge probably without full knowledge - in other words, 'don't tell us who did it'," Roland said.
A number of Iranian scientists have been assassinated over the past few years. Professor Majid Shahriari and Professor Masoud Ali-Mohammadi are among the victims of these acts of terror.
