Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani has stressed the importance of strengthening relations with all countries based on mutual respect.
In a Tuesday meeting with Iran’s new ambassadors to Slovenia, Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands, Sudan and Kazakhstan before their departure for their countries of mission, the Iranian president called on the envoys to make efforts to improve Tehran’s ties with other countries.
“The Administration of Prudence and Hope has always placed emphasis on the expansion of relations with other countries based on mutual respect and common interests,” Rouhani said.
He expressed hope the envoys would succeed in fulfilling their responsibilities.
The newly-appointed ambassadors, in turn, vowed to try their utmost efforts to improve Iran’s ties with other countries.
