Yemeni security forces have arrested a drunk employee of Saudi Arabia Embassy in the capital Sana'a while driving.


According to a report published by Adasat al-Yemen website, the drunk Saudi employee was nabbed after he refused to stop at a checkpoint in the city.

Following the arrest, the drunk employee was transferred to the main security headquarters in the same region.

According to local sources, the diplomat was released after Saudi Ambassador to Yemen called Major General Fadhel Bin Yahiya al-Qusi, the Commander of Central Security Forces, and ordered him to send the soldiers, who had arrested the Saudi diplomat, to jail.
