Israeli military tanks have once again opened fire on a group of farmers in the central Gaza Strip, Press TV reports.
Officials told Press TV that the Israeli tanks pounded east of the al-Bureij refugee camp early Friday.
Three people were reportedly injured in the assault.
In a similar move, Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike on Zeitoun neighborhood, east of the Gaza City on February 24, injuring two Palestinians.
Israeli forces have so far killed four Palestinians and injured nearly 80 others despite the cease-fire that ended the Tel Aviv regime’s eight-day offensive on the Gaza Strip on November 21, 2012.
Over 160 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed and about 1,200 others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the coastal enclave.
On February 13, Human Rights Watch (HRW) condemned the Tel Aviv regime for violating the laws of war during its eight-day assault on Gaza.
