Because the United States no longer uses the United Nations as its little running dog, now NATO becomes its fiat organization of imperialism and terror against people in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America.”

The United States uses NATO as its tool to spread imperialism and terror in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America, a prominent political analyst tells Press TV.

This is while Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced that “six [Patriot missile] batteries will be deployed in Gaziantep, Kahramanmaras, and Adana” in the southern region, to “protect Turkey” from potential Syrian missile strikes.

Press TV has conducted an interview with Dr. Randy Short with the Dignity, Human Rights and Peace Organization, from Washington, to further discuss the issue. The following is a rough transcription of the interview.

Press TV: Protests are going on against this deployment of NATO Patriot missiles. NATO was a North Atlantic oriented organization, but now we are seeing it moving towards the east and changing its nature towards aggression. How threatening can this become in the long-term?

Short: If you look at it, Israel more-or-less is a partner of NATO so it’s a new way to recolonize the so-called Middle East, this monstrosity created by the Sykes-Picot treaty.

Now that that system isn’t working, they now need to come back and physically take what they want from the people there.

Because the United States no longer uses the United Nations as its little running dog, now NATO becomes its fiat organization of imperialism and terror against people in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Press TV: With Turkey becoming involved in the war against Syria, what are the costs and benefits for Turkey here? In other words, how beneficial or detrimental would this war on Syria be for Turkey itself?

Short: It’s very detrimental just in the fact that 80 percent of all Turks or more are against the war. You have students that were protesting at the Middle East Technical University against that president.

You also have this political party called the Justice and Development Party which should be called the Imperialism and Injustice Party which has lost its focus of fixing up the country, bringing it out of the economic morass it wasn’t too long ago.

Now it’s going to make war on its local allies? The president has shown himself to be a lawn jockey, a running dog, an Uncle Tom, a Gunga Din, a buffoon who risks his own country’s security to be patted on the head of an honorary white man.

It’s taking Turkey off of its course of being a serious, respected global and regional power, into being just a puppet state that defecates on its neighbors for the benefit of being included in the European party where they’re not even wanted.

People don’t even like Turkey. They call Turks “brownie” which is another word for nigger. Does Mr. Erdogan know that’s what people consider him to be when he attacks his own fellow Arab brothers and sisters?
