More than 160 Palestinians were killed and some 1,200 others injured during Israel’s eight-day war on Gaza, which started on November 14, 2012.
The Palestinian resistance movement of the Islamic Jihad has hailed Iran for its military and financial support for the Palestinian people that helped them defeat the Israeli regime during its eight-day war on the besieged Gaza Strip.
The movement said on Thursday that, with the help of Iranian technology on producing Fajr (Dawn) 5 missiles, Israel’s communication systems were targeted.
The Islamic Jihad expressed its constant readiness to defend the Gaza Strip, face any attack and even fight another battle against the Tel Aviv regime.
On November 14, the Israeli regime launched a deadly offensive on the blockaded Gaza Strip, which killed more than 160 Palestinians and injured some 1,200 others.
Palestinian resistance fighters incessantly poured rockets and missiles onto the Israeli cities, killing at least five Israelis, including one soldier, in retaliation for the deadly attacks on Gaza.
On Wednesday, Egypt announced that the Israeli regime and the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas had reached a ceasefire agreement.
The Palestinian movement emphasized that the military equations have now changed, saying this is while Tel Aviv showed that it did not know how to react to the Palestinian resistance.
On Wednesday, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad-Ali Jafari said Iran has provided the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, with only the technology to produce Fajr 5 (Dawn) missiles.
“Gaza is currently under siege so we cannot help them,” Jafari said, adding, “We offer all Muslims technological aid to [help them] stand up against arrogant powers and we offer [to give] them our experiences to defend their people.”
