British Labour Party politician Jeremy Corbyn has condemned the Zionist regime of Israel’s unrelenting crimes against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip, saying the regime’s deadly onslaught on Gaza is unjustifiable.
Corbyn denounced the raids, saying "once again Israel has wantonly attacked the people of Gaza, bombing and killing.”
"This is effectively a first world state attacking a poor and largely defenseless population. It looks like a rerun of Operation Cast Lead,” Corbyn said.
He added that the timing of the Israeli aggressions is interesting as Netanyahu has decided to create a crisis to guarantee his re-election.
Over the last few days, a series of emergency demonstrations were held across Britain against Israel’s recent airstrikes on defenseless Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
British activists held several protest rallies outside the Israeli embassy in London since last Wednesday when the Israeli attacks began.
In addition, hundreds of protesters in Edinburgh, Scotland, took to the streets on Saturday to condemn the Israeli massacre of innocent people in Gaza.
