At least six insurgents fighting against the Syrian government as well as an army soldier have been killed in clashes in the northern city of Aleppo. The Syrian army has launched a mop-up operation against foreign-backed insurgents in Aleppo since August 8 and so far, scores of terrorists have been killed in the military operation. Several Aleppo districts, including the insurgents' stronghold of Salahuddin, have also been cleared of terrorist groups since then. Clashes between government forces and armed groups are still underway in a number of Aleppo districts. HM/AZ
