Several people have been injured in Pakistan’s eastern city of Lahore as protesters, angry over the production of an anti-Islamic movie, storm the US consulate in the city.
Pakistani police forces fired shots into the air to disperse protesters and arrested some 70 of them but many demonstrators managed to clamber the walls and enter the consulate compound.
Demonstrations over the movie have been held across the Muslim world, with the protesters in some countries marching on the US embassies and torching the US flags.
