Iran to give crushing response to any attack: Cmdr.

Amid Israel's mounting rhetoric about a military attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, a senior Iranian commander says the Islamic Republic will give a crushing response to any aggression against its territorial integrity.
“Threats by the Zionist regime [Israel] will neither frighten us nor deter us from continuing on our path,” Commander of Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base Brigadier General Farzad Esmaili said on Sunday.
He added that the Israeli regime has no position either among nations or among its own forces and emphasized that Tel Aviv’s “unfounded threats” would increase the Iranian people’s awareness.
The Iranian commander noted that no Western country has the capability to counter even 10 percent of the threats and pressure currently exerted on Iran, saying they would certainly collapse in the face of such threats.
Esmaili stressed that the Iranian nation resists against threats and pressure and makes efforts in line with the country’s development.
Tel Aviv’s threats against Iran are based on unfounded claims that the nuclear activities of the Islamic Republic have been diverted to the acquisition of military nuclear capability.
Iran has rejected the allegations and warned that any military action could result in a war that would spread beyond the Middle East.
