Afghan President Hamid Karzai has denounced the killing of two civilians in a US-led attack in Afghanistan’s southern province of Uruzgan. Karzai says the uncoordinated attacks violate a security deal under which the foreign troops are obliged not to carry out such attacks in Afghanistan unless they are coordinated with Afghan officials. The Afghan civilians were killed in a night raid carried out by the US-led troops on Friday. Night raids by the US-led forces have resulted in civilian casualties and increasing tension between Washington and Kabul. TNP/IS
