Switzerland is to hold an exhibition of the Middle East contemporary arts created by a group of Iranian artists at the Kashya Hildebrand Gallery of Zurich.
The exhibition titled Modern Horizons in Contemporary Miniature is slated to showcase the works of Babak Kazemi, Farah Osouli, Soudi Sharifi and Amir Farhad.
The gallery will host Kazemi’s collection on ancient Persian story of Farhad and Shirin’s Departure
along with Sharifi’s photo arts.
Osouli’s contemporary paintings alongside Farhad’s works on Persian quatrains are also to be displayed at the event.
Kashya Hildebrand Gallery recently mounted an exhibition of Persian calligraphy works by a group of Iranian artists as well that came to end on August 18, 2012.
The event titled The Next Generation: Contemporary Iranian Calligraphy
displayed works by six emerging Iranian artists, including Aqiqi Bakhshayeshi, Hadyieh Shafie, Mohammad Bozorgi, Abolfazl Shahi, Habib Farajabadi and Behrouz Zindashti.
The exhibition is scheduled to kick off on August 30 and will run until October 6, 2012.
