Two people have been killed and several others injured in twin explosions near Libya’s Interior Ministry in the capital city of Tripoli. Libya has been the scene of sporadic clashes between rival militias since the Gaddafi regime was overthrown following an uprising that started in the coastal city of Benghazi and other eastern cities. Gaddafi was killed by Libyan revolutionaries in his hometown of Sirte, located 400 kilometers (250 miles) east of the capital Tripoli, on October 20, eight months into the revolution that put an end to his 42-year-long dictatorship.
