US, Israel must face isolation from world community: Analyst
Indeed, it’s time to give the bullies of this world a taste of their own medicine. If sanctions are implemented against a country which (totally unlike Israel and the USA- is behaving lawfully), then those who implement the sanctions must have sanctions implemented against them. Those who sanction must themselves be sanctioned. That means sanctions against the USA, Israel and the UK."A prominent political analyst says if the Zionist-led world bullies, the USA, Israel and the UK continue imposing sanctions on a law-abiding country like Iran, then other countries should stop trading with them. “Indeed, it’s time to give the bullies of this world a taste of their own medicine. If sanctions are implemented against a country which (totally unlike Israel and the USA- is behaving lawfully), then those who implement the sanctions must have sanctions implemented against them," wrote Professor of Binary Economics and co-founder of the Global Justice Movement, Rodney Shakespeare in an article published on Press TV website on Thursday. “Those who sanction must themselves be sanctioned. That means sanctions against the USA, Israel and the UK,” the analyst reiterated. He went on to write that it should not be thought that putting such sanctions into practice is impossible as even now throughout the world, “countries are quietly (and not so quietly) making new regional agreements and arrangements, all of which are essentially aimed at breaking the economic and political power of the West,” which is taking place for the simple reason that the West, particularly when it is reflective of “Zionist aggressions” is becoming ever more hated universally.
Shakespeare deplored the totally “aggressive, expansionist” nature of the Zionist-controlled US that wants to impose its severe anti-Iran sanctions on all other countries, despite every possible evidence to contradict US claims of Tehran pursuing a military aspect in its peaceful nuclear energy program. The USA demands absolute obedience from all countries across the world, he noted, “It does not matter if all sixteen of the USA’s intelligence agencies clear Iran of making a bomb (as do MI6 and Israel’s Mossad).... It does not matter if those sanctions wreck a country’s economy because; such is its hatred of a modern, rapidly developing and successful Iran (which is a complete contrast to the corrupt feudalisms of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the Gulf Sheikdoms).” Shakespeare’s comments come against the backdrop of US threats to invalidate the license of Britain’s Standard Chartered Bank, for trading with Iran. The columnist highly praised Standard Chartered Bank’s finance director, Richard Meddings, for his well-spoken reply to US threats regarding the banks’ dealings with Iran. He quoted Meddings who said “You (swearword) Americans. Who are you to tell us, the rest of the world, that we’re not going to deal with Iranians?”
Let Richard Meddings be remembered, the author suggested as courageous people stand up to demand that henceforth ‘those who sanction themselves be sanctioned.’This would only be a matter of time, he maintained, “before those who arrogantly sanction others find that the boot is now on the other foot” as they are themselves sanctioned, if countries refrain from using the American dollar in their business transactions, if the Shanghai Co-operation Organization’s past patterns are broken with new economic arrangements and if South American countries stand up against exploitation.
